Spain for Nuclear Energy

The debate about the nuclear energy in Spain has come and gone. Today, if we put an eye on Spanish companies expenses in energy and furthermore if we take a look at the spanish foreign debt we will see that one of the main expenses is made on energy. This one seems to be a key point in the pursue of the companies competitiveness.

Despite the government seems to ignore this issue, is time for the civil society to express ourselves and to remind that all of our neighboring countries are focusing on this energy since which is the most powerful, clean and cheaper of all the existing ones.

The main hurdle? The financial issue. It’s clear that a huge amount of money is needed, specially at the beginning. A Nuclear program is a very capital intensive one, but this effort is worthy. Among other reasons it would reduce in a very large scale the unemployment rate and also it would give to Spain the independency on energy.
